The Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Harness to suit Fiat CHFT2C allows drivers to upgrade to an aftermarket head unit while retaining their factory steering wheel controls. This CANBUS compatible interface connects directly into the existing Fiat wiring with a vehicle specific plug, so no cutting of the factory harness is required. It provides output feeds for reverse trigger, park brake, speed pulse, illumination and amp remote, and supports OEM amplifier turn on through the blue amp remote wire.
The harness requires an Aerpro SWC Patch Lead Type C, sold separately, to enable steering wheel control functions with a compatible aftermarket head unit, and is not compatible with UConnect systems. Installation can be further simplified with the optional Aerpro APP9 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness & SWC Patch Lead, which connects between the aftermarket head unit and this interface.
