The Aerpro Secondary ISO Harness & SWC Patch Lead APP9KE7 is designed for various Kenwood aftermarket AV headunits with 22 pin connectors, adding steering wheel control compatibility. The kit includes an APP8 Secondary ISO Harness and a pre-wired Steering Wheel Control (SWC) Patch Lead, converting the aftermarket headunit plug into a universal double ISO connector system for a simpler installation when paired with an Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface or Infodapter.
The harness carries handbrake and reverse camera trigger wires, along with connection cables for installing a Kenwood CMOS3xx series camera and controller kit. A VSS wire is included and must be connected to the vehicle to enable the CarPlay feature on the compatible headunit. Secure clips on the ISO connectors and headunit plug keep the connection in place, and depending on the vehicle and aftermarket headunit a small amount of hard-wiring may still be required to complete the installation.
