The vehicle specific plug connects directly into the original headunit wiring loom, converting it into a universal ISO connector system so an aftermarket headunit can be installed without removing the factory wiring plug. Secure clips on the ISO connectors keep the connection firm and long lasting.
This harness bypasses the factory amplifier, which is not retained once the aftermarket headunit is fitted. For a simple plug and play installation, it is paired with an Aerpro APP8 secondary headunit harness matched to the new aftermarket headunit, with the two looms joining through the ISO connector system. Depending on the vehicle and aftermarket headunit, a small amount of hardwired installation may still be required to complete the setup.
