The Aerpro Primary Wiring Harness To Suit Chrysler Dodge & Jeep APP018 is a primary harness that connects an aftermarket head unit to the factory wiring loom. It converts the vehicle specific factory plug into a universal double ISO socket, so the original headunit wiring plug never has to be cut or removed from the vehicle.
Pairing the harness with an Aerpro APP8 secondary harness creates a plug and play connection to the new head unit, though a small amount of hard-wiring may still be required depending on the vehicle and head unit. The harness is not suitable for factory amplified units where the amplifier is digitally switched.
