The Aerpro ISO harness to suit Honda Accord Euro 2008-2015 APP0277 retains the factory amplified sound system when fitting a compatible aftermarket head unit. It plugs into the factory Honda connector behind the original head unit and converts it to five RCA plugs for the front, rear and subwoofer inputs on the new head unit, along with an ISO connector for power and earth connections. The aftermarket head unit must provide at least five RCA preouts to use these connections.
Steering wheel remote control wires and the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) connection are retained through the harness, so these functions keep working after the head unit is changed. Adding an Aerpro APP8 aftermarket head unit ISO harness simplifies installation by connecting directly from the new head unit to this harness, though some amplified systems may need the factory amplifier bypassed.
