The Aerpro Single DIN Black Install Kit To Suit Volvo, FP8497K completes a full aftermarket headunit installation in one box. This single DIN facia kit includes metal mounting brackets, a steering wheel control interface, a chimes retention box, a 4.5 metre cable to amplifier connector, an antenna adaptor and a universal SWC patch lead. The black finish facia matches the style of the original Volvo dashboard, and the kit retains steering wheel control functionality including the phone button, the OEM amplified system, and warning chimes or parking sensor audio via an integrated speaker.
The steering wheel control interface is CAN-BUS compatible and needs no additional modules in CAN-BUS vehicles, and it provides output feeds for park brake, speed pulse and reverse gear. The facia opening measures 174mm (W) x 46mm (H) internally and 194mm (W) x 114mm (H) externally, and the original dash panel is cut and removed with the kit's plastics covering the cut edges. A headunit ISO harness is not included and is recommended to be paired with the Aerpro APP9 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness & SWC Patch Lead.
