Product Info
The Aerpro Dual USB Extension Adaptor APUSBD5 provides a discreet way to access rear USB inputs on a compatible aftermarket headunit. It replaces the vehicle's existing accessory socket or mounts to a surface using the included universal bracket, then runs a 1.9m extension cable to the headunit's rear USB ports for charging and data sync. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and some data transfer functions may not work with the latest smartphones over this cable length.
A dust cover keeps the USB port free of debris when the adaptor is not in use, and the kit suits installation points such as the glovebox, centre console or dash where the rear headunit inputs are otherwise hard to reach.
Features
- Replaces the existing accessory socket in most vehicles
- Includes a universal surface mount bracket
- Connects to the rear USB inputs found on most aftermarket headunits
- 1.9m cable length allows installation in the glovebox, console or dash
- USB charge and sync capable
- May not support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto or data transfer on some newer smartphones
- Dust cover protects the USB port from damage when not in use
