The Aerpro Dual USB Charge & Sync To Suit Various Mitsubishi Vehicles APUSBMT2 is designed to suit various Mitsubishi vehicles, replacing factory switch blanking plates in the dashboard. It fits plates measuring 19.5mm wide x 36.4mm high at the face and 21mm wide x 38mm high at the base, giving a vehicle specific, OEM style finish. One USB-A port delivers fast charging up to 3A max for smartphones and other devices, while the second USB-A port provides pass through sync for audio, CarPlay and Android Auto when connected to the rear USB input of a compatible aftermarket head unit.
Both USB ports are bidirectional, so the cable connects either way, and the charge port illuminates blue to make it easy to find in low light. A ferrite choke on the USB cable reduces signal interference during audio and sync use. The clip-in design uses a simple 3 wire installation, accessory power, earth and illumination, plus the USB connection, so it fits with no modifications to the dashboard required.
