The Aerpro DAB Digital Tuner DIGI2 is a universal solution that adds DAB digital radio reception to RDS equipped car stereos. It installs via the vehicle's ISO connector for a plug and play fit, and station names appear directly on the existing radio display through RDS. An infra-red remote control and eye are included for easy operation from the dash, along with a glass mount DAB antenna (APDAB2) and DAB adaptor (CT27AA96) to complete the installation.
The DIGI2 uses an MPEG Audio Layer II decoder for clear digital sound and offers a digital audio out option for connection to compatible amplifiers. Four selectable FM frequencies help avoid interference with existing broadcasts, while auto channel search and favourite channel selection make tuning straightforward. The unit's software is upgradeable to support future DAB features.
