The Aerpro Secondary ISO Harness & SWC Patch Lead to Suit Alpine APP9ALPM connects various Alpine aftermarket AV headunits to a vehicle's factory wiring and steering wheel controls. The kit pairs an APP8 Secondary ISO Harness, which converts the headunit's 16 square pin plug into a universal double ISO connector system, with a Steering Wheel Control (SWC) Patch Lead that links the headunit to an Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface or Infodapter. A handbrake trigger wire is included, and secure clips on the ISO connectors and headunit plug keep the connection in place.
Steering wheel control function requires a compatible Alpine headunit used together with an Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface or Infodapter, sold separately. Depending on the vehicle and aftermarket headunit, installation may require a small amount of additional hard-wiring beyond the plug and play connectors.
