The Aerpro 6.8" Multimedia Receiver Head Unit Kit to suit Holden Commodore VT VU & VX AX8018K is a complete head unit upgrade kit for 1997-2002 Commodore models. The vibrant 6.8" capacitive touchscreen has a crisp 1,024x600 resolution and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly or via USB, alongside built-in Bluetooth V5 for hands-free calls and wireless audio streaming. An AM/FM tuner with RDS covers 12 AM and 18 FM presets, dual rear USB ports handle charging and media playback, and sound is tuned through a 13-band EQ, time alignment and subwoofer control feeding 4 x 50W output and 4V/6 RCA preouts (front/rear/sub) for amplifier upgrades.
The kit includes a vehicle specific installation kit for Commodore VT, VU and VX, with a dark grey facia kit, metal mounting brackets, a steering wheel control interface, a universal SWC patch lead and OEM head unit removal keys, so factory steering wheel controls are retained. A 720P AHD surface mount reverse camera is also included, with a 150 degree field of view and dual AHD camera inputs for an additional front or towing camera.
