The Aerpro 9" Multimedia Receiver with Wireless CarPlay to suit Subaru Forester, Impreza & WRX AMASU6 replaces the factory head unit with a 9-inch touchscreen multimedia system. It suits Subaru Forester (2011-2012), Impreza (2011) and WRX (2011-2014) models fitted with phone buttons on the steering wheel and without factory navigation.
The 9-inch capacitive touchscreen runs Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in wireless or wired modes, alongside built-in Bluetooth with A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and PBAP profiles for hands-free calls and audio streaming. An AM/FM tuner with RDS and 18 FM/12 AM presets, dual rear USB inputs rated at 5V/1.5A each, and dual 720P AHD-compatible camera inputs round out the connectivity. Audio output reaches 50W x 4 channels maximum, with an 8-band graphic EQ, time alignment and 4V/5CH RCA preouts including a dedicated subwoofer output for adding amplifiers.
Supplied as a complete head unit upgrade kit, the Aerpro AMASU6 includes the AM9X multimedia receiver, a matte black facia kit and a steering wheel control interface harness, retaining the vehicle's steering wheel controls including the phone button. The park brake wire must be connected to the park brake for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to function.
