The Aerpro 9" Multimedia Receiver Head Unit Kit to suit Mazda 3 2009-2013 Bose Amplified, AKMZ5 fits 9 inch trapezoid head units in Bose-amplified Mazda 3 BL models. It suits universal trapezoid shaped radios such as the Pioneer DMH-AP6650BT, Kenwood DMX80AXS, Alpine INE-AW409S, Aerpro AM9X and various Android head units, but will not suit standard DIN or double DIN sized radios.
The kit includes a black facia panel, a steering wheel control interface harness, an SWC patch lead and an antenna adaptor, giving you everything needed to retain steering wheel control functionality and the factory Bose amplifier during installation. The head unit ISO harness is not included; an Aerpro APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness is recommended for a complete installation.
Pioneer CAN bus features are not supported directly, though the supplied steering wheel control adapter can be selected from the head unit menu under steering wheel control with adapter, and feature retention will vary depending on the head unit installed.
