The Aerpro 9" multimedia receiver head unit kit to suit Hyundai Santa Fe 2009-2012, AKHY5 supplies the facia, wiring and antenna adaptor needed to fit a 9 inch trapezoid head unit. It is designed for universal trapezoid shaped radios such as the Alpine INE-AW409S, Kenwood DMX80AXS, Pioneer DMH-AP6650BT, Aerpro AM9X and various Android head units, and will not suit standard DIN or double DIN sized radios. The black facia kit, steering wheel control interface harness, SWC patch lead and antenna adaptor work together to retain factory steering wheel control functionality once the new head unit is installed.
This install kit does not support Pioneer CAN Bus features directly, but includes a steering wheel control adapter: select 'Steering Wheel Control' then 'With Adapter' from the head unit menu instead of 'CAN Bus Adapter' on boot-up. Feature retention depends on the head unit fitted. The head unit ISO harness is not included, and the kit is designed to pair with an Aerpro APP8 head unit secondary ISO harness for a simplified installation.
