The Aeroflow Fuel Safety Switch 1/8"NPT AF49-2011 is a vacuum-operated hobbs switch for road-driven engines fitted with a large camshaft. It turns on an auxiliary vacuum pump once manifold vacuum drops below the switch's set point, helping restore pedal feel lost to low-vacuum camshaft profiles. The switch connects via a 1/8" NPT male fitting, matching standard vacuum and fuel system ports.
Electrically, the switch is rated to 15A at 6VDC, 8A at 12VDC and 4A at 24VDC resistive loads, with #8-32 screw and 1/4" blade terminals for flexible wiring.
