The Aeroflow Heavy Duty Tail Shaft Loop AF72-1005 is a bolt-together safety loop that contains the driveshaft and helps prevent the vehicle flipping if the front U-joint fails. Manufactured from 6.35mm (1/4") thick material with a zinc silver plated finish, it has mounting feet 50.8mm (2") wide across a total mount width of 660mm (25-63/64"), and meets both ANDRA and CAMS requirements for drag racing and motorsport use.
Aeroflow tailshaft loops bolt straight into the chassis without welding, making this a practical safety addition for performance and race-prepared vehicles running an exposed tailshaft.
