The Aeroflow 100 Series Stainless Braided Hose -8AN AF100-08-2M is a double braided stainless steel hose for fuel, oil and coolant systems. A stainless steel outer braid resists abrasion and corrosion, while a reinforced chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) synthetic rubber liner with a nylon inner braid handles fuel systems, E85, methanol, oils, lubricants, coolant systems and vacuum applications. It operates across a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C and is rated to 1,000 PSI operating pressure with a 5,000 PSI burst pressure.
This -8AN hose measures 2 metres in length with a 7/16" (11.1mm) inside diameter and 5/8" (15.7mm) outside diameter, and suits Aeroflow's 100, 150, 500, 550 and 880 series fittings. It is not recommended for brake systems, power steering, transmissions or use inside passenger compartments due to permeation; for these applications Aeroflow's 200 series hose and fittings are the recommended choice.
