Its black titanium body connects and disconnects by hand in seconds, giving a leak free release without tools. The -3AN size is rated to a maximum operating pressure of 2,500 PSI, and the fitting is specified for race use only, not for road use.
Aeroflow's quick release range also spans larger -4AN to -8AN sizes at the same 2,500 PSI rating, with a lower 1,500 PSI rating on the -10AN size. EPDM seals are required for brake applications, while Viton seals are recommended for fuel and oiling lines run through the same quick release body.
