It covers a measuring range from 6.125 inches (155mm) to 7.500 inches (190mm), which is critical for achieving proper valve train geometry. The checker is made from a 5/16 inch (8mm) pushrod that has been cut and threaded, giving over 1 inch (25.4mm) of adjustment travel for fine tuning the measurement.
The pushrod length checker kit includes 5 individual length checkers plus a diameter checker, providing the tools needed to confirm both pushrod length and diameter before final assembly.
