The Aeroflow Kryptalon Kevlar Braided Hose -16AN AF7000-16-1M is a lightweight flexible hose built for extreme racing conditions where every gram counts. It combines a woven Kevlar braid with an internal smooth bore Teflon liner for greater flow capacity, wrapped in a convoluted outer for exceptional flexibility. The smooth bore design eliminates boundary layer entrapment and flow disruption, giving higher flow and pressure ratings than conventional convoluted Teflon hose. This -16AN size is supplied in a 1 metre length.
Kryptalon hose suits a wide range of applications including nitromethane, E85, E10, methanol, oils, lubricants and coolant systems, and carries a temperature rating of -70°C to 260°C. It assembles using Aeroflow alloy wrenches, with no special tools required, and a clean cut requires Aeroflow's Non-Stick Cutting Film. An inner coil support spring is recommended on tight radius bends and on the inlet or suction side of any pump.
