The Aeroflow 250 Series PTFE Black Braided Hose -8AN AF250-08-4.5M is a lightweight braided line for brake, fuel, transmission, clutch, power steering, oil, hydraulic and vacuum systems. Often searched for as a teflon hose, it is built from a PTFE inner liner with a 308 stainless steel reinforced middle layer wrapped in a black nylon outer braid, giving it resistance to leaks, fumes and abrasion. This -8AN size measures 0.42" (10.67mm) internal diameter and 0.54" (13.72mm) outer diameter, rated to a 2500 PSI operating pressure and 8000 PSI burst pressure.
The 250 Series hose runs in a 4.5 metre length and is rated from -70°C to 200°C, suiting demanding engine bay routing where fuels such as E85 and alcohol, along with oils and hydraulic fluids, are present.
