The Aeroflow 450 Series Black Braided Hose -9AN AF450-09-30M is a lightweight braided fuel and fluid hose built for performance and racing use. Constructed with a braided nylon outer shield over a flexible stainless steel inner core and a chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) synthetic rubber liner, it suits fuel systems, E85, E10, methanol, oils, lubricants, coolant systems and vacuum applications, and operates from -40°C to 150°C.
This 450 Series hose is supplied in a 30 metre length at -9AN (1/2 inch) size with a black braided finish, and is designed to assemble more easily than traditional braided steel hose. Aeroflow recommends it for use with pump fuel and advises against brake systems, transmissions, power steering, extreme heat areas and passenger compartment installations, where the PTFE series hose is recommended instead.
