The Aeroflow 450 Series Black Braided Light Weight Hose -6AN AF450-06-1M is designed for performance and racing enthusiasts seeking a lightweight alternative to traditional braided steel hose. A braided nylon outer shield resists abrasion, while a flexible stainless steel inner core embedded in a chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) synthetic rubber liner adds strength without the extra weight. Suited to fuel systems, E85, E10, methanol, oils, lubricants, coolant systems and vacuum applications, this -6AN hose measures 1 metre in length and operates between -40°C and 150°C.
The 450 Series hose is built to suit Aeroflow's 100, 150, 500, 550 and 880 series fittings, making it a straightforward option for custom fuel and coolant lines. It is not recommended for brake systems, transmissions, power steering, extreme heat areas or use inside passenger compartments.
