The Aeroflow 450 Series Black Braided Hose -10AN AF450-10-4.5M is designed for performance and racing enthusiasts seeking lightweight hose that assembles easier than traditional braided steel hose. This 4.5 metre length features a braided nylon outer shield for abrasion resistance, with a flexible stainless steel inner core embedded in a chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) synthetic rubber liner for added strength. It suits fuel systems, E85, E10, methanol, oils, lubricants, coolant systems and vacuum applications, operating across a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C, and is compatible with 100, 150, 500, 550 and 880 series fittings.
This braided hose is not recommended for brake systems, transmissions, power steering, extreme heat areas or use inside passenger compartments due to permeation; Aeroflow's 200 Series Hose is suited to those applications instead.
