The Aeroflow Braided Sleeve Heat Shield 1m AF91-9000 insulates hoses and cables from high heat in engine bay areas. This hose heat sleeve has a 6.35mm (1/4") inner diameter, suiting -4 braided hose as well as -3 and -4 PTFE hose, and is supplied in a 1 metre (3 feet) length for localised protection where it is needed most.
The braided sleeve withstands continuous temperatures up to 500°C (932°F) and can handle brief splashes up to 1,100°C (2,000°F), though it is not recommended for direct contact with the heat source itself.
