Trans Gear 75W-90 is a premium full-synthetic manual gearbox and transaxle oil formulated from highly refined base oils, advanced friction enhancers, and the latest additive technology. It meets API MT-1 and GL-5 performance standards and satisfies many manufacturers’ specifications, delivering outstanding wear protection, oxidation stability, and smooth shifting performance under a wide range of conditions.
This versatile oil is suitable for use in transaxles, gearboxes, transfer cases, and differentials of passenger vehicles, 4WDs, and light or heavy-duty commercial vehicles where SAE 75W-90 oils meeting API GL-4 or GL-5 are recommended. It also performs exceptionally in heavy-duty truck and bus gearboxes that normally use 80W-90 oils but require improved shift quality, and may be used in gearboxes from manufacturers such as Hino, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo.
Trans Gear 75W-90 is further suitable for differentials and other equipment specifying 80W-90 oils, providing excellent protection and performance. For limited slip differential applications, the addition of Penrite Limslip Additive is recommended to ensure optimal operation.
