These cleverly designed 4WD recovery tracks are manufactured from lightweight engineering-grade reinforced nylon, boasting fantastic UV resistance and amazing flexibility, proven to completely wrap around a 33" tyre without breaking! Measuring 1150mm long, 330mm wide and 85mm tall, these tracks also double as a handy shovel, with 6 moulded handle grips and a curved underside working to quickly remove dirt, mud and sand from in front of your wheels to get the perfect position for recovery.

The top side of the tracks are designed with aggressive cleats which provide great traction for your vehicles tyres, and also features moulded keyhole accessory points, for easy mounting of your Maxtrax either within your vehicle or to your roof racks. I bought maxtrax just before easter , i was hestitant to pay the money as i thought it was just a peice of plastic but my partner insisting we make sure we are covered when we go over to fraser island. Best thing we ever did, we went up an inland track after it had rained and there was a huge hole in the ground that vehicles just couldnt get up. We came along and used our maxtrax to cover the hole and each of use easy climbed the hill no effort at all. i am glad we have them otherwise we would have been in a sticky situation. The amount of people we saw with maxtrax was amazing, i recommend getting at least one pair for your next offroad trip, specially if you are going on your own.

This is my 2nd set, originals still fine after several recovery's of the 4x and off-road caravan. Have heard stories of the cheaper copies 'cracking' and high wear rate on the lugs (don't spin). Happy to support the Aussie designed and made product for a few extra dollars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Laurence from Saved us from many a tough situation We have used our Maxtrax numerous times, purely first to see how good they work & surprisingly enough, would get us out of those terrible moments. This is our 3rd set, always keep 1 set on car (which is nearly worn out, had them for years) & always have 1 attached to our off road camper for those sticky situation. Totally recommend this product. Even my Mrs's is impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by John from Mr Maxtrax work brilliantly.We decided after a recent trip that we needed a 2nd pair to optimise recovery when bogged. Thye newer ones don't stack well on the original series due to a design change but otherwise 2x pairs is definitely better than 1. Well worth the investment.
