Complete kit for repairing cracks and splits in mufflers, tailpipes and exhaust pipes. Withstands temperatures over 1000°F (540°C). Kit contains ready-to-use foil-packed bandage and support wire.

- Wire brush or sand the area to remove loose rust or dirt. Ensure that all areas right around the pipe, where the tape will come into contact with, are clean, not just the repair area.
- Wrap wet bandage (sticky surface on pipe) around damaged area. Overlap bandage at least 2cm’s all the way around. Force bandage into small cracks as it will mould and conform easily.
- Wrap wire securely around the bandage in order to keep it in place during the setting process.
- Run car motor for 20 to 30 mins to allow the exhaust pipe to heat up. Bandage will then harden to a protective shield over the repair area.
