How To Use the Meguiar's Snow Cannon
Overview
If you're got a decent pressure washer and you have a car to clean, consider using a foam spray cannon from our Meguiar's car care range. This is a great, simple way to start the cleaning process on your vehicle by coating it in a thick car wash to lift dirt and grime from the vehicle. Meguiar's have suggested 2 methods for NO-Touch lightly dirty wash & a moderately dirty wash.
Steps
NO-Touch Method for Lightly Dirty Vehicles
Add 100ml of Gold Class to 900ml of water into your foam spray cannon bottle then attach bottle to the spray attachement.
,br> Make sure to mix the solution carefully so you have an even consistency.
Attach Foam Cannon
Attach the foam spray cannon to your high pressure washer and test spray the pattern, adjust the pattern using the volume nozzle on top and the spread nozzle on the front to the desired spray.
Start spraying the foam from the bottom of the vehicle side to side then upwards.
Leave the Foam to Soak
Then leave the foam to soak into the dirt for 2 - 3 minutes to help lift the dirt from the paint.
Rinse from the top down to help flow of dirt fall straight off the car.
Then dry the car using a clean blower.
Cleaning Moderately Dirty Vehicles
Park you vehicle in the shade before tackling this job.
To ensure you don't get swirl marks from hand washing, pre-rinse the vehicle to take off light dirt and start to cover the vehicle in foam from bottom to top.
Lather Sponge
Lather the a sponge or wash pad with car wash and work from the top down to work the dirt off the vehicle.
Wash Vehicle
As the sponge or washpad becomes dirty, rinse the pad with clean water as you go and contine to wash the vehicle, do the wheels last to ensure no brake dust ends up on your paintwork.
Rinse Vehicle
Once the car has been washed, rinse the car from the top down to help rinse any left over dirt.
Then dry the vehicle with a good quality chamois, re-rinse if dirt is still visible and dry again.
Once the car is dry, stand back and admire what you've accomplished
