Product Info
The UNIMIG fume extractor, KSZ1.5S is a mobile, single-arm 415-volt fume extraction unit suited to purifying fumes and dust generated by welding and grinding. It filters an area of up to 10 square metres and is fitted with a programmable logic controller (PLC) that lets the operator customise extraction time and duration. A pressure differentiation switch works with the PLC to trigger a red warning light when the filter needs cleaning or replacement.
Built from high quality sheet metal, the fume extractor moves easily around the workshop on four heavy duty lockable caster wheels, and its suction arm rotates 360 degrees so the hood can be pulled to the desired work area. The filters have been independently tested to ISO:EN779:2012 and remove more than 99.8% of PM1 nanoparticles, a level of filtration high enough to meet indoor emission standards, with filtered air discharged through vents at the base of the unit.
The extractor is self-cleaning, using an automatic reverse blowing function to clear the filter without manual intervention.
