Built from the same mold as the MPVI3, the RTD Gen 3 revolutionizes remote tuning capabilities. The RTD Gen 3 is designed for remote tune delivery for professionals. This interface lets you and your customer send vehicle files and share data logs directly with tuners and receive professional calibration files to flash to their vehicle via the TDN app.The RTD Gen 3 offers full iOS and Android support with the TDN app.
From a hardware standpoint, the RTD Gen 3 interface is very similar to the MPVI3: it’s an OBDII compatible interface that lets you scan, log and calibrate your vehicle. However, there are some key differences between the devices and their software.
The RTD provides file integrity – prevents the file recipient from accessing VCM Editor to change and view the Tune File.
Please Note: In order to write files back to the vehicle universal credits are required to be purchased separately. Many vehicles are (2) credits for licensing the ECM/PCM, and may have additional options such as a TCM, FICM, or CCM. Vehicle licenses are tied to the VIN, PCM OS, and PCM Serial Number. If those values don’t change, the vehicle will remain licensed on that interface and can be tuned indefinitely.
