It combines enhanced braking response, built-in SwayControl, and total systemvisibility for those who share their loads, tow with multiple vehicles, or want a quick and easy install.
The Elecbrakes Brake Controller is a trailer mounted, plug and play electric brake controller that delivers a smoother ride and less wear and tear on your trailer brakes when you're off on your next outdoor adventure. It is suitable for caravans, camper trailers and boats and means not only that you won’t need to modify your vehicle but you can also change between towing vehicles with no hassle!
The plug and play installation is super easy with no electrical expertise needed and takes less than 10 minutes. Simply mount the unit to your trailer draw bar, plug the adapter (sold separately) into the unit and ElecConnect adaptor then connect the ElecConnect adaptor to the vehicle socket and you're ready to hit the road! Additionally, you can control it using the Elecbrakes Remote Control (sold separately) for added convenience. Download the app to easily monitor the controller and make changes to the settings as required.
Unlike mechanical devices or stand along sway control systems, Elecbrakes SwayControl isbuilt directly into the EB2 brake controller, making it the only fully integrated,all-in-one solution that works with any vehicle, any trailer, and every towing setup. The single,smart system monitors your towing dynamics and delivers the exact response you need -whether that’s precision braking, sway control or both.
With full system visibility through the Elecbrakes App and seamless Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto integration, you can monitor performance, fine-tune settings, and even track your TrailerStability Gauge to better understand your trailer’s behaviour. And when the terrain calls for it,you can switch SwayControl off for complete manual control during off-road or 4WD adventures.
