That’s why DBA has partnered with industry-leading, Europe-based brand Frenkit to introduce the DBA Frenkit Upgrade Performance Caliper Repair Kit – a purpose-built solution for demanding environments, whether it’s competition, spirited street driving, or track-day use.

Factory-standard caliper internals can become the limiting factor in a braking system. Rather than replacing the caliper entirely, DBA’s repair kit solution allows it to be rebuilt to a higher standard, preserving the original housing while upgrading its resilience and performance characteristics.

Developed through rigorous R&D and tested in both lab environments and motorsport conditions, each component is designed to maintain integrity in scenarios where conventional materials – as originally used in calipers and repair kits – can break down prematurely due to the limitations in the materials’ heat handling properties.

DBA’s Caliper Repair kits contain high-temperature piston seals, silicone dust boots, adhesive temperature indicator strips, and – depending the on application – a set of high-quality replacement pistons.
