Bosch distributor caps and rotors are made from top quality materials throughout to ensure high performance and long product life and are quality tested for reliability and performance. Many Bosch distributor caps are made of glass-fibre-reinforced polyester with an additional special surface seal. The Bosch range of ignition parts are all subject to Bosch's rigid quality controls. All Bosch ignition components are designed to be identical in fit and performance to the original equipment parts they replace.
Where can you use it?
Install the distributor cap over the distributor rotor. The output contacts will come close to the rotor so that the electrical current is able to pass between them, before transferring through to the spark plugs. Inside the cap there can be up to 30,000 volts between the live parts.
