ADB SUPERSTOP Brake Pads offer quality braking performance while providing excellent value for money. These low dust formula brake pads are designed to provide superior pedal feel and excellent braking responsiveness during cold and hot operation. Anti-noise shims prevent unwanted braking noise and the built-in wear sensors provide an audible warning when brake pads need to be replaced. To ensure proper operation of brake pads, its important to follow the correct bedding in procedure as outlined below
Bedding In Procedure
ADB SUPERSTOP brake pads feature instant response technology for instant braking performance from the first application. Always road test your vehicle after fitting new brakes. Drive at a low speed of 40-50km/hr and brake with light to moderate pedal applications after each 200m. Do not stop. Repeat 5 times or until satisfied that the brakes are working correctly.
WARNING Do not make repeated brake applications in succession or continuously apply the brakes. Avoid high speeds or aggressive driving during the first 100km. Excessive friction prior to surfaces bedding in causes resins to burn out, glazing, poor pedal feel and possible noise. It is important to inspect brake rotor surface before fitting new pads. Worn or incorrectly surfaced rotors can cause excessive friction resulting in issues as outlined above.
