You can use the SCA Etch Primer on a wide range of metals including mild steel, aluminium, zincalume, galvanized iron, chrome, copper, brass, stainless steel and even more. The SCA Etch Primer needs to be in direct contact with the metal surface and will need to be thoroughly cleared of any paint, rust, rough texture or metal fillings. Then soak a cloth with SCA Multi-Purpose Thinners to remove any traces of grease, oil and dirt residue and allow to completely dry.
