Castrol RX Super Diesel 15W-40 is a mineral engine oil designed specifically for heavy duty diesel engines battling soot agglomeration. Equipped with Castrol's DuraShield™ Boosters RX Super Diesel is fantastic at resisting sludge formation caused by soot generated during severe operating conditions. This soot can build up on the inside of your engine and clog vital oil passages, robbing your engine of protection and cooling capabilities. These boosters also cling to critical engine component surfaces and provide an additional layer of protection that resists up to 40% of metal to metal surface wear, even under high pressures and temperatures .
RX Super Diesel is suitable for use in both on-road and agricultural heavy duty diesel vehicles equipped with DPF, DOC and SCR systems.
